项目设计意在表达“异托邦”这种理念，并企图探索其更具有感召力的方面，即它具有的潜在的开放性和想象力；同时设计也试图表达、同时又挑战酒店建筑这种“非场所”的无质量和空洞化的趋势。本设计引入一个高密度的视觉文化，建立一个“酒店画廊”，以达到这个双向目的；在此酒店，造访者将体验多种的丰富的视觉观赏，获得高层次的记忆和体验质量，无论客人的造访是如何的短暂和瞬息即逝。

The intention of the hotel is to both reflect and to counter this trend. It aims to reflect a more inspiring aspect of heterotopia, namely a sense of openness and imagination; at the same time, it also aims to counter the emptiness or the ‘non-place’ of this typology. The design aims to do both by introducing an intensified visual culture in this hotel and gallery, where a stay though short and fleeting is saturated and memorable, with inspiring views, of various kinds.
